"The Way" in ROMPHEA GALLERY 0 item of art work
The Exhibition will be opened on 8.02.2010 at 6.00 pm.
It will present the works of both artists -Marlena Yurukova and Smilyana Todorova, mother and daughter.
We would like to thank Romfeia Gallery for the opportunity to show you Smilyana's magical dreams and the man from my paintings about whom the great Nepalese poet Laxmi Devkota from the heights of TheHimalyas has written:
"He has fallen from the black clouds
and is living in the shadows.
Do we see a god in him,
or do we see a beggar? "
This exhibition is also an expression of our thankfulness to my sister - the writer Kristin Yurukova not only because she continues the work of L.Devkota, T.Trayanov, P.Yavorov and Yana Yazova, next to whom she is on the portrait, but because in times when 'the mind has degraded so low to serve the hatred and oppression'(A.Camus), she has the strength and courage to place in the centre of her life and the lives of her closest people the arts as the truth itself.
